Biography
Grant Law is a member of the modeling team at the Center for Coastal Observation & Prediction. Law received his Ph.D. in Biological Oceanography from Rutgers University, where he utilized biophysically-linked computer models to explore the population dynamics of sea scallops. His current focus is on modeling the Columbia River estuary and plume, from the tidal freshwater to the coastal regions of Oregon and Washington. Of particular interest is anticipating effects of climate change and human activities on this complex and important coastal margin ecosystem.
