Document Delivery Request Information

Use ILL Express for requesting ILL service. Read about this new service.

In order to sign up for ILL Express, a library barcode is required. All document delivery customers will use the following barcode to sign up for ILL Express:

Fees for Document Delivery of Articles

• Service fees for each item are $12/article when using ILL Express; $15/article when ILL Express is not used.
• There are copyright fees for each article requested; fees depend upon publisher and number of pages and range from $7 to $50 per article.
• Contact Kristine Roley at 503-748-1061 if you want a copyright fee estimate.
• ILL Express allows delivery of pdf files via the web; if you wish fax delivery, there are extra charges of 50 cents per page.
• $10 per item is added to the other charges for Rush delivery.

Fees for Document Delivery of Books

• Service fees for each item are $12/book when using ILL Express; $15/book when ILL Express is not used.
• When books are mailed to the requestor, there is a $5/book additional fee.
• $10 per item is added to the other charges for Rush delivery.

If the requests are incomplete and require staff work to verify or locate a reference, fees of $60 per hour will be charged; the minimum charge for this service is $30 or the equivalent of half an hour.
