How to Register

Register Online

Online registration is available to students who have matricuted and/or who have previously registered with DSE (formerly OGI).

If you are a non-matriculated student and have never registered for classes with DSE (or OGI) or OHSU in the past, please complete the non-degree application form to obtain an ISIS Online account and be able to register online. You may view the online quarterly schedule without logging on.

Using ISIS to Register for a Class

  1. Login to ISIS by clicking the button →

  2. Select the Student Services link to navigate to the Registration Menu.

  3. Select the Term for which you want to register.

  4. Select Look-up Classes to Add to view the online quarterly class schedule.

  5. Simply use the check boxes to select the courses you need from the schedule of classes

Quick Add/Drop Using CRNs

If you know the Course Registration Number (CRN) for the classes you are interested in you can quickly register by selecting Add/Drop Classes. The CRN for each class can be found in the far left hand column of the printed course schedule or the online schedule.


Exceptions

Please note: Some registration activities are not available online, such as registering for more than 12 credits, or adding a class after the first week of the quarter, both of which require division and/or instructor approval. If you are unable to complete your registration online, please contact the OHSU Registrar's Office, regohsu@ohsu.edu or 503 494-7800.


Classes with Variable Credits

If you are registering for a class that has variable credits, such as research or independent study (click here to view Independent Study Guidelines PDF), you will need to go to Change Class Options from the Registration Menu to indicate the number of credits for which you are registering.


Verifying your Registration Online

After you are finished registering, verify your course schedule by selecting one of the three student schedule formats, Class Schedule Display, Student Schedule by Day and Time, or Student Detail Schedule.
