
Commencement
If you expect to complete all your degree requirements by the end of summer quarter 2008 or you have already graduated but did not participate last year, you are eligible to participate this year.
Commencement for graduate students consists of both a Hooding Ceremony (held at OGI) and a Commencement Ceremony (Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.) Students may choose to attend one or both ceremonies.
Commencement will be: Tuesday, June 3, 2008

Please complete this form if you have graduated or are graduating by the end of summer term 2008, even if you do not plan to attend any of the activities. The names of all graduating students are published in OHSU's Commencement booklet and we want to ensure that all graduates are included.
This form must be completed by April 14, 2008.
Audition
Perform the National Anthem at the OHSU Commencement Ceremony on June 3 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in downtown Portland. For further information and to arrange an audition, please contact Karen Seresun , (503) 494-8292.
The 2007 National Anthem was performed by OGI MST, MS student, Darryl Stiff.
Details
The Hooding Ceremony for graduates of OHSU's OGI School of Science & Engineering will be held at the Wilson Clark Center at OGI on Tuesday, June 3, at 11:00 AM followed immediatly by the the Dean's Luncheon.
OHSU’s Commencement Exercises for 2007 will be held at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, 1000 SW Broadway Avenue, in downtown Portland on Tuesday, June 3, at 5:00 p.m.
OGI School of Science & Engineering Covers Regalia Fees for all of their Graduates
OGI covers Cap, Degree Tassel, Hoods (Masters and Doctoral) and Gown rental. Gowns will be returned and students will keep Cap, Degree Tassel and Hoods.
Return of Gown
There will be collection boxes located in Wilson Clark Center after the Hooding Ceremony for students who choose not to attend the main university commencement ceremony. Representatives from Royal-T Papers will be collecting rental gowns following the main university commencement ceremony on June 3rd. Please deposit gowns in the collection boxes along Main Street on the south side of the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, or as instructed in case of inclement weather. Graduates keep their caps, tassels and hoods.

Degree Hoods and Colors
Gowns and hoods differ in color and style according to the degree received. All hoods bear the white, sky blue and forest green colors of OHSU. The color of the trim indicates the degree being received. Please ensure that you know exactly which degree you are receiving.
