Faculty and researchers in Biomedical Engineering are involved in a wide range
of research projects and topics. While many of the research projects are
related to the core curriculum areas of Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering,
Biomedical Optics, Neuroengineering, and Speech and Language
Engineering, the research in the BME department spans topics ranging
from microscopy microanalysis to cardiovascular engineering to
Point-of-Care engineering.
