Giving to OGI
Today the most promising scientific breakthroughs are happening at the
white-hot intersection of science and engineering, and multibillion dollar
markets are emerging to support and commercialize them. To capture the opportunities
ahead, OHSU’s OGI School of Science & Engineering has launched an
ambitious program of strategic growth.
As a graduate school of science and technology, OGI is a small school with
a big impact. For more than 40 years, the school has offered students a uniquely
interdisciplinary education combining science and engineering — the kind
of rigorous, practical training intended to help discover real-world solutions
to contemporary problems. The 2001 merger with OHSU, meanwhile, has expanded
the school’s reach dramatically and opened up new avenues for collaboration
in the biomedical sciences.
